As an experienced safeguarding in education adviser, you can feel confident that I will provide a service of the highest quality, drawing on the latest guidance, developments in safeguarding and Ofsted requirements. I regularly complete safeguarding reviews and compliance checks to help organisations to showcase strengths and identify areas for development.
Single Central Record Compliance Check
I will visit your site, provide external verification that your Single Central Record is compliant, work with you to improve it if it is not and provide a certificate to state that it has been externally verified. I encourage a school governor to shadow this process so that they can continue to check the record thoroughly after the visit. This service is available in Leicestershire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire only.Safeguarding Review
A thorough review and reflection on both safeguarding policy and practice, including a Single Central Record compliance check. I will visit your school for a full day, speaking to all key stakeholders, observing practice and reviewing key policies relating to safeguarding. I will provide an extensive report highlighting areas of good practice and areas for development within 10 days of the review. Schools often request safeguarding reviews when preparing for Ofsted inspections.Review of Safeguarding Governance
A review of the structures in place to provide effective checks and balances to safeguarding practice. This can be applied to trusts, management boards and other similar leadership structures.
